Head - Mechanical Design (10-12 yrs)
Job Responsibilities :
- Conceptualize and create new designs
- Provide technical leadership to a team of mechanical design engineers
- Participate in design reviews.
- Coordinate internal resources and vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Coordination with project teams in Bangalore office
- Ensure that all design projects are delivered on-time at required level of quality.
- Identify and execute cost reduction opportunities.
Job Requirement:
- Proven mechanical engineering experience in Special Purpose Machines, Automation Systems, Machine Tools
- Knowledge in selection of motors, gearboxes, drives, couplings
- Hands-on experience in usage of mechanical CAD tools such as Fusion360, AutoCAD, CATIA.
Experience in usage of Fusion360 is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong in design calculations
- Exposure to Finite Element Analysis
- Exposure to winding machine design will be an added advantage
- Exposure to design of optical metrology systems would be an added advantage
- Must be detail oriented with ability to get into nuts and bolts of the issues
- Strong team player
Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience : 10-12 years
