Required Qualifications & Skills--

Education: ICWA/CMA (Cost & Management Accountant) or MBA in Finance/Textiles.

Experience: 18- 26+ years of experience in cost management within a manufacturing, specifically spinning plant ONLY

Technical Skills: Deep understanding of yarn manufacturing processes, SAP ERP (CO/FICO modules), and Power BI or advanced Excel for dashboards.

Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze variance, cost trends, and financial data

Position Summary:

- The Head of Costing & MIS is responsible for all aspects of product costing, operational cost control, and financial reporting within the spinning plant. The role requires analyzing cost variances, managing budgets, and implementing robust MIS to ensure profitability in line with accounting standards and company goals

Key Responsibilities ---

1-Costing & Analysis:

- Manage plant-based costing to ensure accurate reporting of product and operational costs (raw material, power, labor, overheads).

- Conduct detailed Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) vs. Actual Bill of Materials (BOM) analysis to identify variances.

- Perform inventory valuation and Net Realizable Value (NRV) analysis.

- Calculate cost per kg for different yarn counts to maximize contribution.

- Implement volume- and activity-based cost allocation methodologies.

2-MIS Reporting & Budgeting:

- Prepare and analyze daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports, budgets, and forecasts for management.

- Develop and monitor annual production and cost budgets.

- Prepare segment-wise Profit Before Tax (PBT) analysis and variance reports.

3-Cost Control & Optimization:

- Work with production and supply chain teams to strengthen cost control measures.

- Continuously monitor energy consumption, raw material usage (waste control), and overhead costs to enhance efficiency.

- Monitor key parameters like Yarn Realization (YR) and Grams Per Spindle (GPS).

4-Systems & Compliance:

- Ensure effective usage of SAP CO, FICO, and MM modules for costing.

- Ensure compliance with statutory standards regarding financial reporting.
