Head New Product Development (Metallized Paper)

- You will be responsible for leading the development of new products, focusing on Metallized Paper films and related technologies. Market research, ideation, product definition, prototype development, testing, and ultimately, product launch, all while collaborating with various teams like design, engineering, and marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct market research to identify unmet customer needs, emerging trends, and competitive landscape. This includes understanding the specific applications of Metallized films.

- Generate new product ideas and concepts for Metallized films, considering factors like performance, functionality, and cost. Define product specifications, including materials, design, and performance criteria.

- Oversee the creation and testing of prototypes, ensuring they meet the defined specifications and performance requirements. This may involve working with engineers and materials scientists to optimize the Metallized film composition and processing.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams (design, engineering, marketing, sales, etc.) to ensure a cohesive product development process.

- Manage the product development lifecycle, from initial concept to launch, ensuring timely execution and adherence to budget.

- Monitor post-launch product performance, gather customer feedback, and implement improvements based on market insights.

- Possess a strong understanding of Metallized film manufacturing processes, material science, and relevant industry standards.

- Ensure that all products meet relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements.

Qualification And Experience:

1. BE or materials science, or a related field with Minimum Experience of 8 Plus years in new product development and Understanding of the diverse applications of Metallized Paper such as packaging, flexible films, and labels.

2. Knowledge of the various Metallized manufacturing processes and their impact on product properties.

3. Familiarity with the various tests and evaluations used to assess the performance of Metallized materials.

4. Strong understanding of Metallized films, their applications, and manufacturing processes.

5. Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.

6. Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

7. Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
