Location : 1 X 660MW, Harduaganj Site - Aligarh

Project Detail: 660 MW Coal Based Power Plant

Purpose of Role Monitor and implement all the Quality systems as per FQA Policy of company

Main Responsibilities :

- Sound Knowledge of Quality aspect system implementation in area of Civil, Electrical, Mechanical and C & I aspects of Power plant.

- Specifying quality control/assurance requirements in the tenders floated for different packages constituting the projects.

- Performing technical evaluation of sub suppliers.

- Review of Quality plans submitted by Vendors.

- Ensuring that appropriate quality plans are defined for different packages, products and construction/Erection activites.

- Conducting Sub Supplier and Field Quality Audits

- Regular meetings with the contractor to assess, program & quality.

- Controlling product nonconformities and implementing corrective and preventive actions.

- Providing support and guidance to Field Quality Assurance at different work area.

- Monitoring the implementation of field quality plans by the construction/erection agencies, performing / supervising/witnessing inspection and testing, controlling nonconformities at the project site.

- Taking active part in complying with Quality (ISO 9001) & HSE (ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001) norms along with relevant documentation.

- To act as Management representative of Quality Audits for internal as well as external projects.

- Skills & Competencies In -depth experience in Quality aspects works of Energy Projects specifically power plant.

- Good presentational skills & analytical skills with the ability to provide solutions to issues

- Self motivated with sound interpersonal skills coupled with a confident style of behaviour.

- Good communication skills when dealing with project staff and potentially the client.

- Should have experience in more then 300 MW Coal based Power Plant
