Head - Operations - Logistics Firm (10-12 yrs)
Job Description :
- Liaise with the Operations Managers / KAMs to ensure that their expectations are understood, delivered.
- Play an active role in the commercial development of both new and existing customers
- Be a lead Manager in the customer interface supporting the Operations
- To write SOPs for new businesses.
- To develop MIS reports for various accounts and monitor the performance closely
- To report on performance of various warehouses and provide relevant management information.
- Customer Relationship Management
- Make plans to develop staffs of warehouse by internal/on-job training.
- Implement cost reduction initiative.
Desired Profile :
- Should have minimum 10-12 years experience in Warehousing & Transportation ( Contract Logistics)
- Should have ERP/WMS Knowledge (Both are must and should)
- Strong business acumen & proactive instincts
- Strong Leadership qualities
- Excellent Management Skills
- Strong communication skills
- A logical approach to problem solving
- Strong Analytical Approach
- High level of integrity
- Ability to deliver under stretched timelines
