Role : Head of Operations handling Supply Chain and Multiple plants:

To head :

a) PAN India Inbound & Outbound transportation operation

b) SBU w/H operation at Bhiwandi. Education : Graduation with Logistics / SCM specialization

Functional Area : Managing

a) Plant operations at Bhiwandi, Kanhe, Jaipur which includes outbound transportation as well.

b) PAN India basis Inbound operations to all 3 plants from suppliers & manufacturing plants.

c) Control Tower operations & customer care cell

d) transport Process audit & improvement cell

e) transport procurement

f) MIS & related dashboard management

Desired Candidate Profile :

1. Logistics & supply chain management expert

2. Graduate with specialization in logistics / Supply Chain.

3. Excellent commercial acumen.

4. Has frugal & strategic mindset with in-depth knowledge about Indian transport industry - Road, train & multimodal.

5. Has good contacts with some of the key Indian transport players.

6. Excellent communication & negotiation skills.

7. Subject understanding like GST, CMVR & other critical government regulations & its impact on the business.

Job Description :

1. Handle the entire SBU operations as stated above.

2. Create & work as per agreed DWM.

3. Intigrate all the operations under his / her umbrella with seamless IT enablement.

4. Innovate & come out with breakthrough ideas in operations.

5. Establish a regular review mechanism with all stake holders.

6. Build strong MLL SBU team with high degree of customer centricity, establish proper R&R process to timely acknowledging team's efforts.

7. Create strong MIS dash board with check points of entire operation for all stake holders.

8. Establish model operations audit template for entire transportation process as tool for continuous improvement.

9. Strive for achieving high performance level through agreed customer SLAs.

10. BA engagement through frequent & planned reviews with them.

11. Establish quality culture throughout the operation.

12. Critical focus on drivers engagement to control accidents.

13. Drive sustainability initiatives.

14. Liaison with external agencies like railways, CII, SIAM.

15. Create safety culture.
