Purpose of the Role : Heading Packing and Logistics - Product packing, Export, Import, local product & material movements, shipping
Designation : Head-Packing and Logistics
Key Responsibilities :
- Handling of Ocean transport
- Customs clearance
- Managing of export and import of consignments
- Procedure for taking all the export benefits.
- Thorough knowledge on INCO terms
- Insurance of goods, claims, settlement.
- Managing Transportation of goods
- Handling customer requirements
- Align the team for required work
- Plan for shipping of product
- Customer/Internal NC handling
- Support cross function team
- Quick action to situational crisis
- Product Packing activities-Both domestic as well as sea worthy
Priorities of the role :
- Adhere to schedule & complete as per target
- Work with team to drive them
Reporting relationship with :
- Cross functional leaders to achieve business goals
- Will report to the unit heads
Manages : Internal & External Stake holders
Works with : Cross functional team & meets customer expectations
External Relationships : Managing sub-contractors & Customers requirements
Qualifications Preferred :
- Any Degree with commercial, taxation and customs knowledge
- Any Additional qualification in relevant field will be an advantage
Work Experience Preferred : 10-15 years in the relevant field
Skills and Knowledge :
- Thorough knowledge on Logistics, Shipments
- Hands on practical experience - Handling Logistics both Internal & external
- Knowledge of packing
- Good management skills
- Good communication
- Should have Auditing knowledge
