Head Plant & Machinery - Marine Projects (17-25 yrs)
Looking for a Head Plant & Machinery for Civil Construction Projects to based at anyone of the locations (Jharkhand or Chennai).
Below mentioned are the pre-requisites of the profile:
1. ROLE :
Effective Operation & Maintenance of all Plant & Machinery assets.
To assist in the process of acquiring latest equipment required for business enhancement.
2. Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all P&M assets are kept in good working condition and maintained with least downtime.
- Networking with vendors and OEM suppliers for timely supply of spares/accessories/tools etc.
- Effective inventory management and documentation.
- Devise methods to train operators / mechanics and develop skilled workforce for effective operation.
- Identify obsolete P&M and arrange for disposal and replacement.
3. WORKING RELATIONSHIPS & INTERACTIONS
INTERNAL: Operation Heads, Project Managers, Segment Heads, Head - HR, Department Heads.
EXTERNAL : OEM's, Vendors.
4. QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
Qualification: B.E / B. Tech - Mechanical Engineering (a Regular degree is must)
6. EXPERIENCE
Min. 18 years of experience in Operation & maintenance of Plant & Machinery relating to latest foundation equipment like Rotary piling rigs, Hydraulic grabs, Trench cutters, Hydraulic crawler mounted cranes and all ancillary equipment, accessories & tools.
Last 5 years should have been as Head of P&M department.
Skills: Computer Knowledge, Team Leader, Negotiation Skills and Communication Skills
