Head - Press Engineering (14-25 yrs)
Job Role : Head Press Engineering.
Job Purpose : Preparation of Initial Press Processes of Parts / Dies, Overall Development Timeline & Selection of best suppliers for Parts / Die development within time limit.
Education Qualifications : B. Tech in Mech. Eng. / Automobile/ Tool Engineering.
Relevant experience : 15+, in Automobile, Sheet Metal Stamping, Press Toolings.
Key Accountabilities :
- Planning & Preparation of Tooling's Process sheet & Submit to Finance on Time.
- Negotiations on Quoted Cost to Customer & Suppliers
- Timely execution of New Projects within specified limit
- Introduction to New Technology in Presses / Sheet Metal area
- Prepare & Updation of Press Capacity
Skills and capabilities required to execute the role :
- Knowledge of Press Tools, Stamping Operations.
- Knowledge of Design Softwares, eg. UG /Catia /Auto Cad Costing of Sheet Metal Parts, Dies, Checking Fixtures.
- Negotiations Skill with Customer, Supplier's ( Overseas / Domestic ) Tooling / Child part Development Awareness of New Technologies in Stamping / Automation .
- Understanding & Calculating Press Capacity, VA/VE Monitoring of Schedule & Control ECN / ECR Feasibility & Implementation Dealing with Japanese / Internal Customer / MSIL
