Head - Procurement - Industrial Manufacturing (18-25 yrs)

Currently hiring Head - Procurement with a Renowned Indian MNC in Manufacturing(Industrial).

As Corporate Head of Vendor Management, the incumbent :

- Assumes overall responsibility of Vendor development for supplier streamlining and optimal costing and coordination between Vendors and the business.

- Coordinates with key internal & external parties for sourcing related documentation and compliance

- Takes overall responsibility for the sourcing of materials and other consumables and their delivery to plants considering costs, production schedules and inventory management

- Assumes overall responsibilities of managing the centralized Procurement & Vendor Development function through policy & process deployment

- Advice and control local units on their operations.

Strategically :

- Strategises in finalizing the Vendors for all the materials and other consumables for all manufacturing facilities for the group.

- Prepares annual and monthly purchase plans and projections based on the purchase strategy.

- Ensures development and maintenance of strong relationships with suppliers/vendors leading to lower negotiated prices, better service levels, continuous quality improvements, longer term contract, increased profitability and a mutually beneficial long term relationship.

- Formulates the strategic sourcing & purchase strategy based on criticality of requirements, cost control norms and quality specifications.

- Develops & implements cost reduction plans through strategic sourcing to gain overall cost advantage without compromising with the Quality Standards and Targets.
