Key Responsibilities
Strategic Procurement Planning
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company objectives.
- Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and quality improvement.
Vendor & Supplier Management
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing.
- Monitor supplier performance and address issues promptly.
Budgeting & Cost Control
- Prepare and manage the procurement budget.
- Track and report savings or variances.
Policy & Compliance
- Ensure procurement activities comply with legal, ethical, and company standards.
- Implement risk management strategies to mitigate supply chain disruptions.
Operational Management
- Oversee purchasing of raw materials, equipment, and services.
- Ensure timely delivery to meet production or project timelines.
Team Leadership
- Supervise and mentor the procurement team.
- Set KPIs and monitor performance.
Reporting & Analysis
- Maintain accurate procurement records and reports.
- Use data analytics to improve decision-making.
