Head - Procurement & Supply Chain - Automobile (15-20 yrs)
Job Title - AGM/DGM/GM
Reports to (Title) : Director ( Purchase )
Responsibilities, role, task & duties of position:
- Recruit, manage and develop strong Supply Chain/Logistics team for to achieve business targets.
- Develop Systems and Processes for the Supply Chain function
- Supply chain planning (PFEP - Plan for Every Part), Supplier Capacity Management and Inventory Control. (Production Planning and Material Planning)
- Responsible for Order Management, Production Planning and Control, Material Planning, Warehouse Management, Line feeding- 3PL management, Logistics buying, Logistics Operations (Inbound & Outbound), Customs ( Import & Export )
Educational Qualification, experience, skills & knowledge
- Engineering graduate preferably in Mechanical / Electrical/ Electronics field
- 15-20 years experience with Automobile OEM's in a similar role
- Ability to deal with and manage local and global suppliers to ensure Delivery on time.
- Knowledge of Supply Chain and Logistics Industry.
- Computer skills and experience of working in a strong ERP environment
- Knowledge of packaging standards and costing.
