- Understanding of all aspects governing Development process/ Product Costing/Quality Systems/New Mould/ production activities & up to date knowledge of latest technological advancements, regulations and guidelines

- Strong background in enforcing budgetary controls and implementing cost rationalization measures to achieve projects implementation within agreed time/cost parameters

- Articulate communicator, deft in coordinating and negotiating with the vendors for cost effective purchase of components; enforcing budgetary controls and implementing cost rationalization measures

- Exhibits strong People Management skills coupled with proven acumen in mobilizing and judiciously managing resources with structured inputs in the domains of project planning, scheduling and monitoring to ensure project accomplishment within defined time/cost parameters

Competency Skills :

- Provide technical assistance to the suppliers and ensured adherence to technical specifications and quality standards

- Regularly conduct discussion with vendor during development and conduct quality audit to ease the process of development

- Apply stringent quality control measures while approving parts for new model development

- Significantly analyze Problems during trials and implement counter measures before launching the product to the market

- Accountable for cost innovation (CI) activities with proper analysis of BOM

- Responsible for keeping track record of engineering expenses related to PDP

- Working in close coordination with vendors for detailing them on quality requirements & finalizing quality plan

- Coordinating with the team and resolving key bottleneck issues.

- Supply issues & capacity enhancement of supplier regular basis.
