We are inviting senior manufacturing professionals to join a large-scale Li-ion Cell Manufacturing Facility as Head - Electrode Production, a critical leadership role within advanced factory operations.
About the Role
This role will lead the electrode manufacturing function, ensuring efficiency, quality, safety, and seamless integration with downstream Li-ion cell production processes. The position plays a key role in aligning electrode production strategies with overall cell manufacturing goals while driving innovation in materials and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee end-to-end electrode production operations, ensuring optimal resource utilization and adherence to production plans
- Collaborate closely with R&D and technology teams to implement new electrode materials and process enhancements
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, cost optimization, and waste reduction
- Ensure strict quality control standards, delivering electrodes that meet or exceed required specifications
- Partner with supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of electrode materials with the right balance of quality and cost
- Uphold and reinforce safety, environmental, and compliance standards across electrode manufacturing
- Work closely with cell assembly and other production teams to ensure smooth integration into final cell products
- Monitor key production metrics and provide regular updates to senior leadership
- Build and manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and external stakeholders
What We- re Looking For :
- Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline
- 12- 18 years of manufacturing experience, with at least 3 years in electrode production for Li-ion cells
- Proven leadership experience in high-tech or giga-scale manufacturing environments
- Strong knowledge of electrode materials, manufacturing processes, and related technologies
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Collaborative, adaptable, and results-driven leadership style with a strong focus on quality and safety.
