Head - Production & Quality Control - FMCG (12-16 yrs)
Our client is a growing FMCG company in the ready-to-cook food category.
Role Details:
- This role will form an integral part of the senior leadership team responsible to drive the organization's growth plans over the next 5 to 7 years.
- Strong manufacturing & quality control and assurance professional.
- Head the production and quality control for 5 manufacturing locations.
- Responsible for scaling up the production facilities.
- Ability to design and implement manufacturing strategies and processes to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of price, quality and delivery targets and which enables the company to function and compete effectively in the market.
- Experience of design for manufacturing input at early stages in the new product development process, coordinating with and supporting the new product development team to implement new and revised designs and developing effective processes to ensure manufacturability of product while maintaining quality, safety and environmental standards and achieving cost targets.
- Ability to spearhead the Quality department and meet or improve on budget, cost, volume and efficiency targets in line with business objectives.
- Determine, negotiate and agree on in-house quality procedures, standards and specifications.
- An integral part of the role will be to set up systems and establish robust and scalable processes with the appropriate risk mitigants to be put into place.
- Manage internal & external stakeholders
Qualifications & Experience:
- BE/BTech with 12 to 15 years experience in manufacturing and operations
- At least 10 years of experience in production in the food industry
- Ideal candidates would have had experience in handling production, engineering, process, quality and man management in large plants.
- Should have demonstrated ability in scaling up the growth of a company exponentially.
