Experience: 20+ Years (including minimum 5 years in a leadership role).

Qualification: B.Tech/ BE - Mechanical / Metallurgy / Production Engineering.

CTC: As per industry standards.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Dynamic & result-oriented professional to lead and manage end-to-end Projects & Operations across multiple divisions including Direct Reduced Iron (DRI), Steel Melting Shop (SMS), Rolling Mill, and Captive Power Plants. The role demands a strategic leader with deep technical expertise, project execution capability, and proven operational excellence in a large integrated steel plant setup.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Projects Leadership :-

- Oversee Greenfield and Brownfield project planning, Design, Budgeting, Procurement, and Execution.

- Ensure timely commissioning of new units (DRI, SMS, Rolling, CPP) as per project timelines and quality standards.

- Manage contracts, engineering consultants, and equipment suppliers.

- Review project progress regularly and implement corrective actions where necessary.

2. Operations Management :-

- Drive production, quality, cost control, and safety in all operational units.

- Monitor plant performance KPIs across DRI, SMS, Rolling Mill & Power Plant.

- Ensure seamless integration of production planning and plant maintenance schedules.

- Adopt Lean, TPM, Six Sigma, and energy efficiency practices for operational improvement.

3. People & Team Management :-

- Lead cross-functional teams across departments.

- Develop and mentor departmental heads and middle-level managers.

4. Statutory Compliance & Safety :-

- Ensure adherence to all Environmental, Health, and Safety regulations.

- Coordinate with regulatory authorities for approvals and compliance reporting.

5. Cost & Resource Optimization :-

- Maximize plant uptime and yield while minimizing operational costs.

- Optimize power, fuel, and raw material consumption.

Key Skills Required:

- Strong leadership and project management skills.

- Sound knowledge of Steel plant processes (DRI, SMS, Rolling Mill).

- Working knowledge of Power plant operations and Energy management.

- Proficient in handling cross-functional teams.
