QUALIFICATION(Must) : B. E (Electrical / Mechanical ) or Diploma (Electrical / Mechanical ) QUALIFICATION(Desirable) Post Graduation
EXPERIENCE (Must) : 15 to 25 years
LINGUISTIC REQUIREMENT English and Hindi
JOB LOCATION : Hosur
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS
Must be from a Large Motors / Generators manufacturer company
- Must have headed purchase team of procurement of complete Large Motors /
Generators components
- Any PG in MM a preference
- SAP MM knowledge is a must
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Should have adequate knowledge of Large Motors / Generators components, their sources, costs, etc etc.,
- Should have purchased /or dealt related accessories and components of Large Motors / Generators.
- Should have dealt with imports related to components and must have the knowledge of related suppliers.
- Should be aware of the incentives/import export tariffs, duties, concessions related to above.
- Should be a leader to lead a team of engineers and should be self-driven.
- Should be aware of the costing, vendor development and other related activities related to purchase department.
- Should be well versed with the quality requirements from a vendor for an engineering product.
- Should be of high integrity and result oriented to develop and deliver components in a short span of time
- Should be cost conscious and also must have adequate knowledge on inventory management and should have good negotiation skills.
- Should have experience on import substitution.
