About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Head to join our dynamic team. The Procurement Head will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive procurement strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
 -  Develop and execute procurement strategies:
 -  Define and implement procurement policies, procedures, and best practices.
 -  Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and negotiate favorable contracts.
 -  Develop and manage supplier relationships, including performance monitoring and risk assessment.
 -  Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives across all procurement categories.
 -  Manage the procurement process:
 -  Oversee all stages of the procurement process, from sourcing and evaluation to contract negotiation and supplier management.
 -  Utilize procurement technologies and tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
 -  Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
 -  Lead and mentor the procurement team:
 -  Build and lead a high-performing procurement team.
 -  Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to team members.
 -  Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team environment.
 -  Strategic sourcing and supplier management:
 -  Identify and develop long-term relationships with key suppliers.
 -  Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and address any issues proactively.
 -  Develop and implement a supplier diversity program.
 -  Risk management:
 -  Identify and mitigate potential procurement risks, such as supply chain disruptions and price fluctuations.
 -  Develop and implement a robust risk management framework.
 -  Reporting and analysis:
 -  Prepare and present regular reports on procurement performance, including key metrics such as cost savings, supplier performance, and contract compliance.
 -  Conduct data analysis to identify areas for improvement and inform strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
 -  Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is a MUST.
 -  10+ years of experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in Fastener industry is a MUST.
 -  Proven experience in developing and implementing successful procurement strategies.
 -  Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
 -  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
 -  Experience with procurement software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, e-procurement platforms).
 -  Strong leadership and mentorship skills.
 -  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
 -  Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
 -  Experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
