Head - Purchase - Solar Power Plant Projects (9-12 yrs)
- Candidate will be responsible for development and implementation of- Procurement- strategy for all business lines in the company.
- Participate actively in technology selection of grid connected and off-grid - Solar- Power Plants.
- Implementation regarding vendor selection process to create pre-qualified vendors for equipment and services relating to construction of Solar- Power Plants. This shall require both domestic and international travel.
- Implementation of contract management system.
- Negotiation of contracts.
- Implementation of streamlined logistics.
- Building relationships with nodal agencies like :Customs, MNRE (MNRE for management of concessions and incentives pertaining to- SolarPower Generation)
- Drive down equipment delivery times for faster implementation of projects.
- Implementation of effective inventory management system at project sites
Candidate :
- Must have direct experience with- procurement- of 100 crores of equipment and services for- Solar- Power Plant projects.
- Must have direct experience in implementation and / or use of contract management system like SAP.
- Must have experience working with Custom Authorities in India.
- At least 5 years experience in- procurement- in Solar sector.
- Experience in managing a team of at-least 3 people.
- Hands-on experience in- procurement.
- Preferably Electrical Engineering Graduate
- English, Hindi is a must.
