Job Summary:

- The Quality Head will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of quality assurance and control within our manufacturing operations, with a specific focus on gear manufacturing, cylinder head, and cylinder block production.

- The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in these areas and a proven track record of driving quality improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibility:

1. Quality Management:

- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive quality management system (QMS) to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

- Establish and monitor quality metrics and KPIs to measure and improve product quality and manufacturing processes.

- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.

2.Expertise in Gear Manufacturing:

- Oversee the quality assurance processes specific to gear manufacturing, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and standards.

- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize gear manufacturing processes for quality and efficiency.

- Conduct regular audits and inspections of gear manufacturing processes and equipment.

3. Expertise in Cylinder Head and Cylinder Block Manufacturing:

- Manage quality assurance activities for cylinder head and cylinder block production, ensuring compliance with design and quality standards.

- Work closely with design, engineering, and production teams to identify and resolve quality issues in cylinder head and cylinder block manufacturing.

- Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives in the production of cylinder heads and cylinder blocks.

4. Leadership and Team Management:

- Lead and mentor the quality assurance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

- Conduct regular training sessions for quality personnel and production staff on quality standards and procedures.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality is integrated into all aspects of the manufacturing process.

5. Compliance and Audits:

- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements.

- Prepare for and manage internal and external audits, including ISO/TS 16949, IATF 16949, and other relevant certifications.

- Maintain thorough documentation and records to support audit processes and regulatory compliance.

6. Continuous Improvement:

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and improve manufacturing efficiency.

- Implement lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize quality processes.

- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure the company's quality practices remain cutting-edge.

Qualification: B.E/B.Tech - Mechanical

Experience: 17-20 Years
