Head - Quality - Smart World Business

Job Responsibilities :

- Create and implement best practice quality vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve business performance

- Ensure that quality strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs

- Ensure all personnel are properly trained to perform QA/QC work, serve as mentor and manager to team of QA/QC technicians.

- Develop project quality assurance plan and execute project quality management activities

- Ensure effective internal and external audits happen and monitor and evaluate subcontractor implementation quality

- Supervise and lead a team of QA/QC technicians to ensure timeliness, completeness, and accuracy of field work during the construction and implementation of projects

- Report on Quality activities on a regular basis to the Senior Management team, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of the relevant Key Performance Indicators

- Collaborate and coordinate with other managers to ensure project is running smoothly and without disruption

- Overall responsibility for Quality activities across the Business Unit

Candidate Profile :

We are looking for a highly talented and qualified professional who has a domain expertise in Quality with the following prerequisites.

- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferable - Electronics / Telecommunications). A Master's degree in QMS with an excellent academic track record is a plus.

- Auditor certifications

- Minimum 15 - 18 years of experience.

- Detailed understanding and exposure in telecommunications, control centers, telecom system works, security, smart infrastructure, OFC cable laying concepts

- Knowledge of latest Quality Standards in Telecom industry(TL 9000) and Lean concept

- A natural leader with the ability to reduce complexity to tackle strategic challenges.

- Willingness/flexibility for business trips when required.

- Good understanding and exposure in the Communication Network/Telecom infrastructure companies will be a definite plus.

- Ability to manage large scale projects, including resources and personnel
