Head - R&D & Engineering - Power Electronics Mfg (16-25 yrs)
Grade : Senior General Manager / General Manager
Reporting to : CEO
Job Location : Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh
Brief Description of Job Responsibilities :
- New product development from Concept to Commercialization
- Managing the metrics like Time to market & cost of development of new products
- Institutionalizing best practices in R&D and Engineering like NPD / QFD / Six Sigma
- Monitoring Product life cycle in collaboration with after sales service and to effect improvements.
- Developing overall capabilities within the R&D / Engineering team members
- Closely work with Supply Chain for alternate materials / components including vendor development.
- Actively Collaborate with Manufacturing for commercializing production by providing inputs like BoM, SOP and Process Engineering etc.
- Create and develop infrastructure required for R&D, Product Validation & Reliability and Testing
- Partnering with external organizations for design/product development as an when required
- Leading Engineering team to support the business development of EMS
- Develop & Institutionalize best practices related to Knowledge Management, work flow design and setting up process architecture in the organization.
Educational Qualifications : M Tech (Power Electronics/EEE )/ Ph.D.
