Job Description :
Develop processes for new products and/or improve processes of existing products by performing experiments in the lab and subsequently transferring to pilot plant and plant scale. Manage the lab and chemist, manage data and follow ISO standards whenever applicable.
Location : Vapi, Gujarat
Openings : 1
Timings : 9 am to 6 pm (Fri to Wed)
Salary : 10-15 lakhs per annum depending on skills and experience.
Qualifications :
- PhD in organic Chemistry
- Experience in Organic Chemistry and Synthesis is essential and required.
- Skills required : Organic synthesis, reaction planning and execution from setup to purification and analysis. Reading and analyzing literature (especially patents).
- Candidate with clear understanding of material and energy balance calculations, unit operations and plant processes is preferred.
- Skills in IR, GC, HPLC, NMR and quantitative analysis is preferred.
- Candidate should be comfortable to work in a group environment and work collaboratively with other departments in the company.
