Job Description :
- Execution of the long term distribution strategy.
- Keeps abreast of the latest developments in distribution & warehousing through market networking & observation of best practices
- Leads implementation of new systems and cutting edge technologies in warehousing & distribution that will ensure continual improvement in deliverable to the system on assured supply, cost and quality.
- Holds accountability for the Quality performance of the Distribution system measured by the company system.
- Holds accountability for performance of the complete 4PL/3PL distribution network and in view of the same
- Responsible for setting up appropriate review systems( Quarterly reviews, Annual Reviews, Supplier performance Index) with the 4PL/3PL partners for monitoring progress
- Tracks changes in government policies for regions within markets, identifies opportunities arising out of taxation, distribution efficiencies etc and implements solutions in the regions within markets.
- Leads development of Supply Chain analytics.
- Provides high level guidance to product category managers & market managers.
