Head - Supply Chain Management & Demand Planning - FMCG (15-18 yrs)
This role would be responsible for the entire Supply Chain Management (including Road Transportation), Demand Planning (Consumption & Production Planning) for the entire company.
Location : Mumbai (Head Office)
Reporting to : GM - Operations
Team size : 5-6 (Direct Reportees)
Manufacturing Units : 9 spread across the country
Role & Responsibilities
Production & Consumption Planning :
- Create the SCM strategy basis Sales& Operations Plan (OP)
- Ensure high OTIF availability of Vegetables, Proteins
- Drive dilution of inventory of Slow moving and obsolete inventory. (OP)
- Optimize packed goods inventory (OS)
Supply Chain Management:
- standardize freight agreements and optimise supplier # (OP)
Cost :
- Process for cost monitoring (per ton and Per Km) thereby optimizing freight cost (OP)
- Optimize transportation cost (Road) (OP)
Process :
- SOPs review, amend and monitor (OP)
- Evolve planning system process. Document, ensure execution and monitor (OP)
Customer Centricity:
Performance metrics (KPI's) (OS)
- Customer complaints related to SC (OS)
People:
Optimum staffing (OS)
- Competency mapping and development (OS)
- Succession plan and bench strength availability (OS)
- Coaching (OP)
MIS:
- Report Generation for SCM operations and KPIs through BI,BO (OP).
Education: MBA - Agriculture preferred
Relevant Experience (post MBA) of Minimum 15 years (+/- 2 years depending on Institute grading)
