POSITION BACKGROUND:

- Provide leadership and strategic directions to the Supply Chain Management team in India through delivering a consistent, high quality and cost effective customer service to internal and external customers

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Develop an overall local supply chain operational direction and strategy in accordance and alignment with India Healthcare business and supply chain strategy

- Overall responsible for managing the local Healthcare supply chain operations comprising demand & supply planning, inventory optimization and management, costs management and reduction, driving the demand planning and sales & operations planning processes, interfacing with and management of warehousing & distribution logistics provider, freight-forwarders, contract manufacturer(s) and external vendors, coordination of local redressing and Finished WIP packaging activities and order processing and management

- Continually exceed goals by delivering high quality and cost- effective solutions to achieve operational excellence and greater customer satisfaction.

- Collaborates with Commercial to deliver an accurate, robust and timely 18-months rolling sales forecast taking into consideration new launches, product promotions, marketing, sales and phase-in/out plans

- Ensures that significant within-the-month forecast changes are communicated

- Conducts Root Cause Analysis for forecast failure and identify corrective actions

- Implements Best Practices as part of continuous improvement

- Produces robust business replenishment supply plans to support sales forecasts which satisfy customer service objectives whilst minimizing inventory carrying costs

- Identifies key demand / supply imbalance, evaluates options and proposes solutions

EDUCATION:

- MBA from a reputed institution with specialization in Supply Chain Management, Post-Graduation degree, Phd will be an added advantage.

- Business fluent English both written and verbal is mandatory.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

- Experience in managing Supply Chains either of FMCG or Pharma sector
