JOB DESCRIPTIONS - SUPPLY CHAIN HEAD

- Monitor forecasts and quotas to identify changes or to determine their effect on supply chain activities

- Focus on safety, cost management and business growth in all interactions and directives

- Review or update supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations, or laws.

- Review with management, all purchasing agreements to confirm best price and delivery.

- Indigenous procurement against requirement from various sites.

- Monitoring stock items and reordering levels after studying the consumption pattern.

- Monitor supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements

- Collaborate with other departments to identify vulnerabilities and close operational gaps

- Create supply chain management strategies that increase efficiency and speed

- Distribution and dispatch of the materials.

- Documentation for receipt of the materials and transfer to various sites.

- Administration of the department.

- Co-ordination with sites and Head Office - finance & technical department.

- Expediting custom clearance.

- Planning and supply of material and its control

- Maintain an updated inventory of all rig equipment and spares

- Preparation of Material requisitions on the M.R database.

- Planning out materials for the project comparing the Bill of Material (BOM)

- Update material stock and maintain and Inventory for all project materials

- Develop material cost as forecasts or standard cost lists

- Optimize warehouse functions

- Prepare a weekly / monthly look-ahead material required statement and submit to head of Operations/CFO .
