Role Summary:

The Head - Waterproofing will be responsible for end-to-end planning, design integration, execution oversight, and lifecycle performance of waterproofing systems across all projects. The role ensures zero-defect delivery, minimizes post-handover leakage risks, and standardizes waterproofing practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategy & Standardization

- Develop and implement organization-wide waterproofing strategy and standards

- Create technical specifications, SOPs, and design guidelines

- Standardize systems across projects to ensure consistency and efficiency

2. Design Integration & Technical Leadership

- Collaborate with architects, structural consultants, and MEP teams

Review and approve waterproofing designs for:

- Basements, raft slabs, retaining walls

- Terraces, podium decks, and roofs

- Wet areas (toilets, balconies)

- Water-retaining structures (tanks, STPs)

3. Vendor & Material Management

- Evaluate and onboard waterproofing contractors and material suppliers

- Approve materials (membranes, coatings, admixtures, sealants, etc.)

- Drive innovation by adopting new technologies and systems

- Negotiate warranties and performance guarantees

4. Execution Oversight & Quality Control

- Monitor on-site execution to ensure adherence to approved methodologies
