HMI Engineer - Vehicle Diagnostic (3-6 yrs)
Job Description :
Department & Sub Function : Vehicle Engineering (HMI PAT)
Position/Title Lead - BCM & Convinice Features
Education Qualification : Degree in Eletronics/telecommunication/Electrical
Experience :
- Experience from 5 to10 years in testing of BCMECU and related features.
- System validation, integration testing and vehicle level validation expertise in BCM ECU and it's features.
- Good understanding on BCM internal system Architecture, interface with other Vehicle ECUs.
- Hands on experience on testing instrumentation, CAN communication, data analysis and report generation.
- Added expertise of Automotive vehicle electronics, ECU integration with IC, Info, ABS/ESP, vehicle diagnostic for DTC data analysis.
- Benchmarking & analysis skills for recommendation in execution strategies and logic defining.
- CAN based system famillarity and CAN data analysis for root cause/resolution, interaction with different tools for testing & validation. Trends identification on BCM features.
Reporting to - HMI PAT Leader
Description :
- BCM Features/ system functionality testing & analysis for resolution
- Vehicle level validation of all electronics/electrical system & Vehicle diagnostic for DTC analysis
- Test plan/DVP preparation with robust test cases as per Customer usage
- Issue identification/root cause analysis/Data analysis and proper report generation
- Initiatives in benchmarking of new systems, technology
- Flexibility enough for long & variable hours of work
Responsibility :
- Overall DVP execution based on project priority & reporting
- Validation report, benchmarking reports with data analysis
- Daily basis vehicle diagnostics & issue indentification
- New technology demonstration
- Adherence to project time lines & quality deliverables
