About HomeLane :

- HomeLane is an online home design startup that aims to organize the otherwise unorganised home interiors industry (including designers, carpenters, installers, painters, etc). By doing this, we want to make the homeowners- experience of designing their homes easier and predictable in terms of cost, timeline and quality.

- Our primary customer is a new homeowner who is about to move into or rent out a new home. A smaller yet equally important customer segment is of owners looking to renovate their homes.

- Currently, HomeLane operates in four cities - Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad and Mumbai, where we have delivered 1400+ homes till date! HomeLane has also raised about $15 Million in venture funding from marquee investors like Sequoia Capital, Aarin, Growth Story and Baring PE India.

Role description :

Installation Manager Responsibilities :

- Coordinate with Square Partner to plan installations based upon customer commitments.

- Manpower Forecasting for the upcoming week installations

- Tap manpower from market if sufficient manpower is not available with Square.

- Track installation costs

- Track adherence to quality, timelines, site hygiene, daily work progress by Square Team

- Nurture Project Managers, Site Inspectors and Measurement Executives in the system.

- Train new PMs on HomeLane Processes. (D2 meeting, site readiness check, installation site visits, installation sign off meeting, Smartsheet Updates)

- Train Site Inspectors on M&D Process

- Train measurement executives

- SPOC for PM queries/installation escalations.

- Performance Management of PMs, SI, SM

- Monitor and schedule day to day activity of PMs

- Work with Delivery Manager to achieve Revenue and NPS Target

- Bi weekly update of every site under installation and under site readiness

- Track completion date of installation

- Coordinate with city Planner to ensure that project needs are being fulfilled

Key Performance Indicators (not exhaustive) :

- Customer Net Promoter Score

- Zero Customer Service Escalations

- Installation TAT and Install Mandays

- Installation Costs

- Install defects found in Installation QC

- Revenue from Delivery Unit

- Number of Referrals in a Quarter

Skills, capabilities & background :

- 8+ years of relevant experience in project management with strong technical knowledge in Home Interiors installation

- Root-cause problem solving skills and a data-driven decision mindset

- Strong English written & verbal communication skills

- Excellent people management skills (ideally, should have managed a span of 5+)

- Exceptional customer-centricity

- Solid project management

- High bias for action
