1. Liaising with clients to identify their needs
2. Estimating quantities, costs and time scales for material and labour
3. Preparing tender and contract documents
4. Identifying and weighing up commercial risks
5. Assigning work to subcontractors
6. Valuing completed work, managing budgets and overseeing payments
7. Ensuring projects meet legal and quality standards
8. Ensuring that clients get value for their money
9. Advising on the maintenance costs of specific buildings
10. Understanding of Architectural & Structural drawings
11. Quantification of different packages
12. Measurement take off from drawings
13. Mode of Measurements as per IS code
14. Market knowledge of material & labour Rates
15. Should have hands-on experience working on MS Office, Auto Cad
