IDOM - Design Engineer - Electrical (5-15 yrs)
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform basic engineering tasks, including Lighting calculations (using Dialux), Earthing & Lightning protection, and Sizing calculations for Transformers, Switchgear, Cables, etc.
- Develop Single Line Diagrams and schematics for electrical systems in Industrial projects.
Execute detailed engineering work such as creating specifications, data sheets, technical bid - analysis, reviewing vendor drawings, and equipment layouts.
- Design layouts for Cableways, Lighting, Earthing & Lightning Protection with Bill of Quantity, Cable, and interconnection schedules.
- Ensure compliance with standards and international codes like IS, IEC, IEEE, EN, NFP, NEC, etc.
Desirable Skills :
- Proficiency in ETAP (load flow, short circuit, motor starting study, relay coordination, harmonic studies, etc.).
- Strong background in design consulting for industrial sectors, including power plants, oil & gas, etc.
