Import Executive - Documentation Operations (2-10 yrs)
Job Description :
- Prepare, review, and ensure accuracy of export and import documentation, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and other relevant documents.
- Collaborate with internal departments, suppliers, shipping companies, and customs brokers to coordinate documentation requirements.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements for all documentation.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders to track and manage shipments, ensuring timely and accurate customs clearance.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all export and import documentation, both electronically and physically.
- Verify and reconcile shipping documents with purchase orders, sales contracts, and other trade-related agreements.
- Liaise with customs officials and relevant authorities to resolve any issues or discrepancies related to documentation.
- Generate and compile reports and data for internal reporting and analysis purposes.
- Stay informed about changes in international trade regulations and documentation standards.
- Provide support and training to the broader team on proper documentation practices.
