The Client is an Operations Consulting Firm founded in 2006 providing Operations Improvement services to its clients for over 32 years. Over the last 6 years, they have successfully completed a number of Industrial Engineering and Simulation projects in India and around the world for various industry sectors including Automotive, Auto Component, Two Wheeler, Steel and Service.

Job Role :

- Visit to Client sites,

- Data Collections,

- Interaction with Client,

- Project Management,

- Data Analysis,

- Work content estimation

1) Work content estimation using following technique for direct & indirect areas

a. PMTS (MOST, MODAPTS, MTM, etc) - Any one technique must

b. Time study

c. Work sampling

d. Production study

2) Acquainted with following industrial engineering technique :

a. Line balancing / work distribution (Multi model line)

b. Man-machine chart / SWC

c. Lead time calculation

d. Manpower calculation

e. Concepts of layout

f. Yamazumi chart

g. Lean concepts

h. World class manufacturing system

i. Productivity improvement concepts & idea generation or identification

j. Value Stream mapping

3) Data management : Good knowledge of MS office i.e. excel, word, power point, etc.

4) Acquainted with other manufacturing techniques (preferred)

a. TPM

b. SOP / work instructions

c. JIT

d. Toyota production system

e. 7 QC tools

f. Six sigma

- Manpower calculations

- Man Machine Charts

- Application and Study by using various Industrial Engg Techniques

Industrial Engineer
