- Review production schedules, Process Lead Times, engineering specifications, process flows, Other activities involved in manufacturing process
- Enact quality control procedures to resolve production problems and minimize costs
- To Develop manufacturing process evaluation programs
- To Eliminate wastefulness in production processes
- To Devise efficient systems that integrate workers, machines, materials, information, and energy to make a final product
