Experience & Key Skills

Mandatory:

- Minimum 5-6 years of experience in product design/ new product development and be good at modeling with relevant experience in agricultural/ heavy mobile equipment. Cross-functional experience like design, testing and validation will have weightage.

- Machine Integration, Knowledge in Pump, Nozzle, Fan,Hydraulics.

- Experience in developing a product right from identifying customer needs to concept development, proof of concept, detailing and production. Conversant with DFM, DFA (DFX).

- Experience with developing concept prototypes

- Load analysis, Knowledge in structural design,Chassis, Frame structure, load bearing element.

- Knowledge in flow simulation, Manufacturing process.

- Strong sketching and concept presentation skills

- The ability to effectively communicate clearly ideas/innovation with engineering and marketing. Demonstrate strong innovative and design thinking skills.

- Expertise in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Keyshot.

- 3D CAD surface modeling preferably with SolidWorks

- Able to balance multiple competing priorities and tasks simultaneously.

- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

- A portfolio demonstrating you skills is required

Desirable :

- Exposure to Vehicle integration: Prime mover, drive system, hydraulic routings, electrical and others. Experience in designing and developing self propelled vehicles with extended arms will be a plus.

- Should be conversant with usability and ergonomic studies for farm machinery.
