Job Description - Supply Chain Executive /Assistant Manager (Inventory & Replenishment)

Role Overview
This role is responsible for managing inventory planning, stock reordering, replenishment, and warehouse operations across locations using SAP & WMS. The candidate will ensure stock availability, inventory accuracy, and smooth material movement between HO, warehouses, and factories.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end inventory planning, replenishment, and reordering based on demand trends, sales forecasts, and consumption.
- Monitor SKU-wise stock levels across HO, Factory, and Warehouses to prevent stock-outs and over-stocking.
- Perform MRP and stock planning in SAP; review purchase proposals and stock transfer recommendations.
- Work on WMS for inbound, outbound, put-away, picking, cycle counts, and stock reconciliation.
- Track slow-moving, ageing, and non-moving inventory and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure inventory accuracy vs. system stock, investigate variances, and close discrepancies in SAP / WMS.
- Maintain reorder levels, safety stock, min-max planning & lead-time parameters.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Sales, Warehouse & Logistics teams for timely replenishment.
- Monitor open POs, GRNs, stock transfers, dispatch schedules, and material movement.
- Support cycle counting, physical stock audits & compliance documentation.
- Prepare inventory MIS & KPI reports - Stock Ageing, Fill Rate, OTIF, Inventory Turns, DOH.
- Support process improvement & warehouse efficiency initiatives using SAP & WMS functionalities.
- Ensure adherence to FIFO / FEFO, SOPs, safety, and quality standards.
- Manage multi-location coordination and participate in on-site operational reviews at factory locations.
Work Location & Travel Requirement
- Base location: Head Office - Lower Parel
- Regular travel to Factories - Vasai & Boisar for inventory reviews, audits, and operations coordination
- Candidate must be comfortable handling multi-location FMCG supply chain operations
Required Skills & Competencies
- Hands-on experience in SAP (MM / WM / MRP)
- Strong working knowledge of WMS platforms & warehouse operations
- Experience in FMCG / Manufacturing / Distribution environment
- Expertise in inventory control, replenishment & stock planning
- Advanced Excel / MIS reporting, strong analytical & coordination skills
Education
Graduate / Post-Graduate in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or Commerce
(Certifications in Logistics / Supply Chain - added advantage)
