Roles & Responsibilities :
1. To execute all the instrumentation related jobs in the Operation factory safely through his subordinates.
2. The technician ensures efficient and safe maintenance/installation of VVVF Drives, PLC, SCADA, MMI, Field instruments (RTD, TC, FT, LT, PT, Rota meter, Mass flow Meter etc), Control elements (Valves, On-Off, Control valves, Batching valves, Butterfly valves, Ball valves), Cylinders, Servo drives, Scanners, Encoders.
3. The technician maintains records on down time of services equipment, history of equipment for optimum utilization of resources (man and materials)
4. The technician appraises the Instrumentation lead of shut down jobs, preventive maintenance. He appraises the Manager on day to day planning to ensure efficient maintenance program me and manpower allocation.
5. He assists the Instrumentation lead to implement the agreed action plan related to instrumentation.
6. He helps the Instrumentation lead to troubleshoots process operations for bottleneck constraints for capacity (Instrumentation inputs).
7. The technician ensures proper maintenance of Instruments.
