Instrumentation Engineer

Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the instrumentation and control systems used in the production process. This includes selecting, installing, calibrating, and troubleshooting instruments and control systems like PLCs, DCSs, and SCADA. The goal is to ensure efficient, safe, and reliable operation of the BOPP film production line.

Key Responsibilities:

- Designing and selecting appropriate sensors, transmitters, control valves, and other instruments for BOPP film production processes.

- Creating and implementing control strategies using PLCs, DCS, and SCADA systems to optimize production parameters and ensure consistent film quality.

- Regularly calibrating, maintaining, and troubleshooting instrumentation and control systems to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.

- Keeping accurate records of instrument calibrations, maintenance activities, and any modifications made to the systems.

- Working to improve the efficiency and reliability of the BOPP film production process through the implementation of new technologies and control strategies.

- Adhering to safety and regulatory standards in all aspects of instrumentation and control system design, implementation, and maintenance.

- Identifying and resolving issues with instruments, control systems, and related equipment.

- Working with other engineering teams to optimize system performance and ensure seamless integration with other plant systems.

Qualification And Experience:

1. BE in Instrumentation, Electrical, or Control Engineering with 3-4 years of Experience in BOPP film manufacturing or a similar industry is highly desirable.

2. Proficiency in programming and configuring PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), DCS (Distributed Control Systems), and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems is essential.

3. Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus) is also beneficial.

4. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are necessary for troubleshooting and maintaining complex systems.

5. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are important for collaborating with other engineers and technicians.

6. Understanding of safety and regulatory standards related to instrumentation and control systems is crucial.
