Instrumentation Engineer (5-9 yrs)

Job responsibilities includes :

- Study and review of P&ID, Process flow diagram (PFD) with respect to the Instrument types and process description.

- Review of process datasheets, plot plan, Line list, Piping material specifications, equipment layout, vessel datasheets, area classifications etc.

- Preparation of Instrumentation Data sheets for various flow, level, pressure and temperature instruments.

- Adept to Pressure Safety Valves and Pressure Control Valves sizing with actuators using API 520 and ISA 75 standards respectively.

- Preparation and finalization of installation standards: process & pneumatic hook ups.

- Preparation of Installation Hardware MTO.

- Flow element sizing calculations using ISO 5167 Standard.

- Preparation of Functional Schematic diagrams.

- Instrument/Electrical interface details.

- Material Requisition for Various Instruments.

- Preparation of Instrument Index / IO List.

- Preparation of Cable & JB schedule.

- Cable Block diagram and Loop wiring diagram from field instruments to DCS/ESD Marshalling cabinet & system cabinet.

- Junction Box Wiring Diagram.

- Preparation of Level sketches.

- Preparation of Instrument JB Location Layout.

- Preparation of Air Connection Layout.

- Cable Tray and Trench layout.

- Cable Tray MTO including all fittings and accessories.

- Review of quotations, preparation of technical questionnaire, technical bid analysis and purchase requisition etc. for the same.

- Involvement in HAZOP studies and further node wise preparation of HAZOP worksheets which include the deviations, causes, consequences, existing safeguards and recommendations.

- Basic knowledge of DCS and PLC Systems, System Architecture, Cabinet / Panel GA for DCS, SIS and PLC systems.
