Experience : Minimum 7+ Years of Experience in Oil and Gas Engineering and Design.

Education : B-Tech / B.E - Electrical/Electronics & Instrumentation (Regular)

Software skill : INTRUCALC, SPI (INTOOLS)

Competency skills :

1. Sizing and selection of Flow meters, Control Valves & Relief Valves.

2. Familiar with all applicable instrumentation international codes & standards (ISA / API)

3. Familiar with Technical/Functional Specifications and Data Sheets for Control Systems, field instruments (Transmitters / Gauges), Analysers, Shutdown Valves, ESDV- s, Cables & other bulk materials etc.

4. Familiar with all Instrumentation drawings, Loop diagrams, block diagrams, layouts, JB wirings etc.

5. Familiar with Cause & Effects, Control Philosophy and Alarm & Trip Schedules.

6. Familiar with P&ID, Control System General Arrangements, Control System Architecture Drawings for Oil, and gas business.

7. Familiar with Control System Power distribution and wiring diagram.

8. Familiar with HAZOP / SIL Studies.

9. Familiar with Electrical activities Load List/SLD/Electrical Cable/Distribution board/Lighting / Motors/ MCC/Local Control Panel.

Roles & Responsibilities :

1. Design the instrumentation and control system of process equipment for quotes and projects

2. Interpretation of the specifications and utilizing it in the quotation and projects. This includes, but is not limited to, the selection of type, material, size, and feasibility of purchase with respect to the company standards and customer requirement.

3. Making sure the projects and quotation are meeting the customer requirements with respect to the instrumentation design.

4. Preparation and review of instrumentation bill of materials for quotes and projects.

5. Responsible for the project instrumentation within the budgeted cost.

6. Maintenance of the code and standards with respect to instrumentation.

7. Checking the fabrication drawing where instrumentation is involved.

8. Responsible for sizing calculations in relation to instrumentation.

9. Assist the CAD designing team in preparing instrumentation drawings, P&ID- s, wiring drawings, hook-up drawings and other related drawings.

10. Preparation of the technical specifications of instruments for outsourcing.

11. Selection and tracking alternates/scope changes during execution of a project.

12. Managing the code standards and company engineering specification.

13. Responsible for retrieval, updating and utilization of the code(s) as per project needs.

14. Responsible for electrical engineering especially regarding motors, pumps, distribution boards, transformers, heat tracing, cable sizing, lighting etc.

15. Preparation of general arrangement, single line, electrical load list and schematics drawings for low voltage switchboards as per tender documents.

16. Preparation of BOM/BOQ at pre-tendering stage.

17. Preparing response to technical queries raised by the bid evaluator during evaluation stage of a tender bid.

18. Preparation of final BOM/BOQ, and engineering drawings after receipt of order.

19. Closing technical issues raised by the end user if any, during engineering stage post order.

20.Inspection, testing and wiring of different types of LV AC Electrical Panels.

21. Responsible for implementing QMS procedure & maintaining related documentation.
