Job Title: Robotics Trainer
Location: Yadgir, Karnataka / Gauribidanur, Karnataka / Karur, Chennai
About the Role
The Robotics Trainer will play a key technical role in implementing and managing iSpark's STEM and Innovation Lab programs in schools. The position involves setting up, maintaining, and operating advanced learning systems related to Robotics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Coding, and Electronics. The facilitator will guide students through hands-on projects that integrate 21st-century skills such as design thinking, problem-solving, and innovation. This role requires strong technical acumen, an aptitude for experimentation, and the ability to translate complex STEM concepts into practical, project-based experiences.
Key Responsibilities :
- Install, calibrate, and maintain STEM lab equipment, robotics kits, and AI learning tools.
- Conduct and support hands-on sessions involving electronics, sensors, automation, and programming.
- Design and implement small-scale prototypes and technical demonstrations to enhance concept understanding.
- Provide technical assistance to students during project development, troubleshooting, and testing.
- Ensure all hardware, software, and network components in the lab are functioning optimally.
- Assist in developing and upgrading project modules related to robotics, AI, and coding.
- Document experiment results, learning outcomes, and technical observations for reporting and improvement.
- Coordinate with academic teams to integrate new technologies into existing STEM modules.
- Support technical events, innovation challenges, and exhibitions.
- Uphold safety protocols and ensure lab compliance at all times.
Skills & Competencies :
- Strong technical knowledge in electronics, robotics, automation, or embedded systems.
- Basic understanding of AI, machine learning, or IoT concepts.
- Proficiency in Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or similar microcontroller platforms (preferred).
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to explain and demonstrate technology concepts clearly and confidently.
- Hands-on approach to troubleshooting and system maintenance.
- Interest in mentoring students and fostering innovation.
Qualification & Experience :
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (ECE, EEE, CSE, Mechatronics) or a related field.
- 0- 2 years of experience in technical facilitation, R&D support, or STEM project work.
- Experience in robotics, coding, or AI-based learning systems is an advantage.
- Fresh graduates with a passion for applied technology are encouraged to apply.
