Reporting to : Plant Logistics Head

Job Summary :

To monitor daily dispatch of Cement from plant to specific markets as per allocation/targets. Correct deviations immediately to balance dispatch pattern. Product wise dispatch monitoring, Focus on clearing sales orders on FIFO basis, to Service urgent orders from Plant on priority basis, Keep Plant Logistics Head informed on any deviations or abnormal behaviors on regular basis.

Key Activities And Responsibilities Of The Role :

Perspective :

Financial:

- Set Targets are achieved by each Transporter for execution of all orders

Customer:

- Timely dispatch of all orders (Target Order Execution time - 24 Hours)

Process:

- SAP - Orders downloading, Target vs Actual comparison

Capability:

- SAP, Excel, Good verbal Communication, Good Analytic skills

Key Performance Indicators :

Measurable deliverables :

- Target vs Actual dispatch Ratio to be minimum 85%

- Order Execution time to be less than 48 Hours

- Ensure that transporters achieve minimum 85% of set targets

Qualifications : Bachelor in Engineering ( Industrial engineering) or Minimum Bachelor Degree in Commerce or Science / PG in SCM preferred

Skills & Competencies:

- Good written & verbal communication, Negotiation & Performance review skills

Specific Experience :

- Should have handled Road Transportation & rail dispatches in similar industry
