Job Title : Junior Architect

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

1. Design Support : Assist in developing architectural concepts, layouts, and schematic designs based on project requirements and client input.

2. Drafting and Documentation : Prepare accurate and detailed architectural drawings, plans, elevations, and sections using computer-aided design (CAD) software.

3. Research and Analysis : Conduct research on materials, building codes, regulations, and emerging design trends to inform design decisions.

4. Collaboration : Work closely with senior architects, designers, engineers, and other project team members to contribute to integrated design solutions.

5. Presentation : Assist in preparing visual presentations, renderings, and models to effectively communicate design ideas to clients and stakeholders.

6. Project Coordination : Participate in project meetings, coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers, and contribute to project timelines and milestones.

7. Quality Assurance : Review drawings and documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant standards and codes.

8. Learning and Development : Continuously learn and adapt to evolving design technologies, software, and industry practices to enhance skills and proficiency.

9. Site Visits : Participate in site visits to gain practical knowledge of construction processes and to ensure design intent is being realized on-site.

10. Problem Solving : Assist in resolving design challenges and technical issues that arise during the design and construction phases.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field (Master's degree may be preferred).

- Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools.

- Strong visual and verbal communication skills.

- Basic understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction methods.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new design technologies and techniques.
