Job Description
PIPING ENGINEER/DESIGNER
Key areas of responsibilities include:
- Develop 3D modeling and supporting of mechanical piping systems
- Preparation of General Arrangement Drawings
- Preparation of Piping Layout Drawings
- Extraction of Piping isometrics from 3D Model
- Prepare material take-offs
- Prepare Pipe Support Drawings
- Prepare Piping Stress Analysis for Critical & Non-Critical Piping Systems
- Co-ordination with other disciplines
- Attend model reviews as required
- Reports administratively to the department manager and day to day to the piping lead
Requirements
- Degree Mechanical Engineering
- Oil & Gas experience
- Knowledgeable codes & standards
- Tools
- Smart Plant 3D
- PDMS/E3D
- AutoCAD
- CAESAR II
