Kokuyo Camlin - Assistant Manager - Vendor Development (3-5 yrs)
Job Purpose :
- New Vendor Development for New & Existing Product.
- Vendor Control and Management.
- Cost analysis and Control.
- Vendor Audit and assessment.
- Market research for RM,PM Prices.
- Manufacturing Control - Export co ordination and Capex follow up.
Functional Responsibilities :
- Explore New Vendors for New & Existing Products - Imported goods
- Ensure compliance to New Vendor Development process
- Coordinate with vendors & QA for acceptance / rejection of the products
- Conduct weekly updates of RM for the cost up gradation
- Co-ordinate with the foreign / domestic vendors to get the quality check done on a timely basis
- Ensure legal activities like specifications; agreements etc. are in place while placing orders.
- Update product codes & Bill of Material are updated in SAP
- Update the costing data, saving sheet on monthly basis
- To do periodical vendor audits and assessments.
Qualifications : BE / B.Tech (Mechanical or Chemical), Preferably Diploma in Material Management
Experience : 3-5 Years of relevant experience
