Landis+Gyr - Lead/Senior Engineer - Hardware Design (5-12 yrs)
Job Description :
- Must have good understanding about Electricity meters and SMPS designs
- Must have experience with Cost reduction exercises and BOM Check
- Need to Test and Validate new Manufacturer parts with internal / external standard procedures
- Should be able to find alternate electronic parts with matching parameters
- Support H/w design team with component selection and qualification data
- Proficient in writing detailed test plan and test reports as per applicable reference standards
- Skilled user of Testing Equipment and Tools like Oscilloscope, Function generators, etc.
- Should be able to write structured and systematic test reports and templates
- Need to execute workflows for introducing new parts in PDM system
- Should be able to design Schematics and preferably basic board layout
- Responsible for Completeness of systematic component data information
Desired Skill set :
- Metering background is highly desirable
- Understanding about Type test requirements (IEC and EN standards)
- Should have understanding about EMI/EMC concepts
- Should have experience with Analog Simulation tools like PSPICE, MultiSim, etc.
- Proficient with analysis and reporting using MS Office Excel
- Skilled in Soldering and reworking dense boards
