Lathe Machine Operator/Turner (3-4 yrs)
Key responsibilities :
- Operating Lathes : Using lathes to create cylindrical shapes, cut threads, and perform other turning operations.
- Setting Up Machines : Preparing lathes and other turning machines for specific tasks, including selecting appropriate cutting tools and setting machine parameters.
- Reading and Interpreting Drawings : Understanding and following engineering drawings to ensure accurate part dimensions and specifications.
- Quality Control : Measuring and inspecting finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Maintenance : Performing routine maintenance on lathes and other turning equipment.
- Problem Solving : Identifying and resolving issues that arise during the turning process.
- Collaboration : Working with engineers, designers, and other production personnel to achieve project goals.
