Job Description:

- Should have working experience in BIW design such as Upper Body. Under Body, roof systems, Sub system & Component level design (Automotive)

- Should manage a team of 3- 4 designers, estimation of work, allocation of task to members, maintain timeline, ensure quality of team delivery

- Interaction with customer for project work

- Update project manager as well as Sr. management on project status.

- Concept and design development of BIW components

- Adequate knowledge of Sheet Metal Forming, process & BIW Assembly procedures.

- Basic to advanced knowledge in systems design and engineering in the area of BIW

- Knowledge of Automotive Design applications and processes and / or releasing tools like Team Centre

- Exposure to Vismockup / PLM System will be an added advantage

- Proficient in Surface modelling, GD&T using CATIA V5
