Lead Engineer - Mechanical (9-12 yrs)
Job Description :
1) Lead development of processes to deliver best performance at lowest cost giving due regard to safety, operability, maintainability and legal compliance
2) Scope and develop initial designs and layouts for capital projects, and then expand them into detailed plans and drawings.
3) Provide feasibility studies, specifications and budget estimates for capital schemes
4) Support Project Managers on major projects undertaken by GMT worldwide or existing operations to deliver installations on time and to budget
5) Lead the implementation of approved capital projects
Desired Profile of the Candidate :
1) Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Design Review Comprehensive knowledge GMT safety management system and standards.
2) EEM Practitioner
3) Working knowledge of AM/PM to step 3
4) Gas and burner safety standard -understanding of EN746
5) Comprehensive understanding of some calcination methods, material drying and grinding, Powders, bulk solids handling
6) Specialist in either:solid handling and measurement,liquid storage handling & measurement;mixing, forming & extruding
7) Working knowledge of ATEX and Legionella
8) Understanding of gypsum chemistry and testing
9) Working understanding of principles of CFD, FEA
10) Basic thermodynamics (heat and mass balance).
